Is your site ready for a Nutec house?
Sorting these out early avoids delays and surprise costs later:
- Space and boundaries: make sure the house fits within your building lines and required distances from boundaries.
- Ground conditions: sloping ground, clay soils or dolomite areas can need a different foundation or a geotechnical check.
- Access: delivery vehicles and materials need a route to the site. Send us photos of gates and driveways.
- Services: think about where water, sewer and electricity will connect.
- Approvals: check zoning and building plan requirements with your municipality, and with your estate or HOA if you have one.
Questions to ask before you buy
Whoever you buy from, get clear answers to these questions before you pay a deposit:
- What exactly is included: foundation, insulation, ceilings, flooring, plumbing, electrical and painting?
- Is transport to my town included?
- Who handles building plans, and who submits them to the municipality?
- What are the payment terms?
- What maintenance will the house need over the years?
Planning to finance your home? Speak to your bank early. Lending criteria for alternative building methods can differ from brick homes.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell ready-made Nutec houses?
We build to your chosen size and specification, so the house suits your site and how you plan to use it. Tell us what you need and we'll suggest a starting design.
Can I see pricing before I contact you?
Our Nutec house prices page explains what affects cost. Because every site and specification is different, we give exact prices through a quote.
Can a Nutec house be built on a sloping site?
Usually, yes, with the right foundation or a raised base. Send photos of the slope so we can advise.
Can I get a bond for a Nutec house?
That's up to your bank. Some lenders treat alternative building methods differently, so ask your bank or a bond originator before you commit.
Do you deliver to my area?
We build in Gauteng, North West and Mpumalanga, and take on projects in Limpopo. Send us your town to confirm.
